With ‘UnderStanding Art’, Go Art Projects re-opens in a new location, a Bucharest suburb, in a rural area and has a less formal approach of presenting established, emerging and aspiring kids artists in a friendly and unpretentious way. Starting July 2024, Go Art Projects activates as an artist run space managed by Adriana Florea Baloiu and aims to create opportunities for artists to show their practice in a cozy atmosphere, to encourage and support the youngest artists and to engage with the local community in an open dialogue, trying to grow the interest in visual arts and art education.
Go Art Projects is a Romanian contemporary art platform, founded in 2014, at the initiative of Adriana Florea Baloiu and Ovidiu Baloiu, with a focus on promoting the work of emerging and established visual artists. Since inception, Go Art Projects has operated as a nomad gallery, with exhibitions held in temporary or pop-up locations.
