On Saturday, April 20 and Sunday April 21 hundred exhibitors, professionals and dedicated amateurs, hailing from Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy will be unpacking furniture and other design objects from the 50s, 60s, 70s and early 80s in the convivial atmosphere of a busy flea market.

The event, for the public, dealers and collectors alike will take place in the magnificent, historic setting of the old harbour station at Tour & Taxis, 86c avenue du Port, 1000 Brussels (entrance via the Tour & Taxis site).

Naturally, one has to be an early bird to find the rarer objects as the dealers will get there first. But exhibitors will also be bringing more affordable, if no less beautiful pieces, such as Eames and Panton chairs, Knoll tables, Bertoia armchairs, etc. A treasure trove of finds: you can expect to discover Scandinavian, Belgian, French, Italian and American furniture alongside ceramics and glassware, collectors pieces and accessories in plastic, metal, wood and Bakelite.

As official partner, Brussels Oldtimer Market will show (and sell) about 100 beautifull oldtimers. There will be something for everyone !

The Brussels Design Market, founded in 2002, is a flea market that is exclusively dedicated to design. There are pieces from the 50s to the early 80s.

One hundred exhibitors from Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy,… put their furniture and objects on the flea market in the Old Maritime Station of Tour & Taxis.
