Viorica Jahn – My Abstract
Miercuri, 4 octombrie 2023, ora 18, va avea loc la Palatul Parlamentului, Sala “Constantin Brâncuși”, vernisajul expoziției semnate de Viorica Jahn, “My Abstract”.
Viorica Jahn pune accentul în creația sa artistică pe relațiile extrem de complexe dintre formele inventate și raporturile cromatice. Miza artistei este de a pune în acord centrul de greutate al lucrărilor propuse, determinat de adâncimea culorilor, cu vectorii vizuali determinați de geometrismul non-gestual pe care îl propune. Deși rezultatele sunt convergente, aceste două mijloace de expresie distincte își au proprii algoritmi generativi, fapt care conduce spre efecte moderat cinetice în actul lecturării imaginilor, potențate de orizontul de așteptare al privitorilor, nevoiți să compare ceea ce văd cu ceea ce s-ar fi așteptat de fapt să vadă.

Viorica Jahn emphasizes in her artistic creation the extremely complex relationships between invented forms and chromatic relationships. The artist’s stake is to reconcile the center of gravity of the proposed artworks, determined by the depth of colors, with visual vectors determined by the non-gestual geometry which she proposes. Although the results are convergent, these two distinct means of expression have their own generative algorithms, which leads to moderately kinetic effects in the act of reading images, enhanced by the waiting horizon of viewers, forced to compare what they see with what they would actually expect to see.
