The exhibition is held in the unconventionally charming space of the old barn of the Cetate domain near the Danube, presenting 16 visual contemporary artists who, although extremely different in terms of vision, generation and artistic volition, are bound by two major dimensions: the need to experiment with organic materials (wood, textiles and ceramics) and a determined focus to emphasise the haptic materiality of the objects they created.

The result of experiment is visible in the transgressions of the traditional media of fine arts: sculpture tends sometimes to be bidimensional, the ceramics objects often get monumental and the textiles create impressive installations. The haptic organicity of all the selected objects is accentuated by the heavy materiality of the exhibition space itself, which may be regarded as the opposite of the conventional “white cube”
