P/ACT FOR ART: BERLIN BIENNALE ZEITUNG
Within the next few days the bilingual newspaper P/Act for Art: Berlin Biennale Zeitung will be released. It refers to Berlin’s cultural politics, currently being highly debated. Since its foundation the Berlin Biennale has been connected to the city, and engages local topics as a trigger for its own activities. Therefore, Artur Żmijewski and the 7th Berlin Biennale asked international cultural and knowledge producers to weigh in on the current debates. P/Act for Art: Berlin Biennale Zeitung gathers around 50 statements expressing different, future orientated opinions and aims to stimulate a creative exchange with those politically responsible of Berlin. Anh-Linh Ngo perfectly defines the common task in P/Act for Art: Berlin Biennale Zeitung: “Get involved, take a position, make demands”.
P/Act for Art: Berlin Biennale Zeitung is distributed for free. The statements can also be found online: http://www.berlinbiennale.de/blog/en/7th-biennale/pact-for-art
P/Act for Art: Berlin Biennale Zeitung was designed by Berlin based BUREAU Mario Lombardo, who is responsible for the graphic design of the 7th Berlin Biennale.
