Four kilometers west of Brisbane’s central business district, Zaha Hadid has designed three residential towers located on the former site of the Australian broadcasting corporation in Toowong. The development, entitled ‘Grace on Coronation’, will contain 486 apartments, eight villas and also includes the landscaped parklands that run alongside the city’s riverbank. The neighboring heritage-listed middenbury house will also be preserved as part of the project.

Describing the proposed project, Zaha Hadid said, ‘The design tapers each structure to minimize their footprint and open the riverfront to the public; creating a vibrant civic space for Toowong within a new riverside park.’
