Over 400,000 Images from the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Collection Are Now Available Online for Non-Commercial Use

Last week The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced that it is making more than 400,000 high resolution digital images of public domain artworks freely available online. The museum is making the works available for non-commercial use as part of its Open Access for Scholarly Content initiative. The collection can be browsed on the Met’s website.
