The Simpsons Apologize for Labeling Judas Priest as a ‘Death Metal’ Band

On a recent episode of The Simpsons, the show described the heavy metal band Judas Priest as “death metal“. This created an uproar online with fans. When the show’s writers caught wind of the mistake, they decided to apologize by having Bart Simpson repeatedly write “Judas Priest is not ‘death metal’” on the classroom blackboard at the end of the episode.
