“In order to satisfy the enthusiasm of the public, the exhibition will not be closed from Friday 22 March at 11am to Monday 25 March at midnight,” the Centre Pompidou said to the AFP.

The Centre Pompidou has already allowed such opening hours – as nightly openings every day except for Tuesday – in order to handle the pressure of the crowd. The blockbuster exhibition has already attracted more than 800,000 visitors. Large institutions tend to follow the trend of non-stop openings more often. Recently, the Grand Palais allowed it for the closing of the Edward Hopper exhibition that attracted 784,000 visitors.

The Centre Pompidou has already dedicated a large retrospective on Salvador Dalí, who still holds the record of the largest attendance at the institution after more than thirty years, with some 840,600 visitors.
