Premiul pentru curatoriat “Vasile Drăguţ”, ediţia I (2012)
În urma concursului organizat de Secţia de Critică a Uniunii Artiştilor Plastici din România, premiul pentru curatoriat “Vasile Drăguţ” ediţia 2012 a fost decernat lui Mihai Plămădeală, pe data de 30 octombrie, pentru proiectul “NonRealism democratic”. Proiectul presupune o serie de cinci expoziţii: “Toţi oamenii preşedintelui”, “Pink Submarine”, “Art on Devices”, “Spectacle du Monde” şi “PictoSculptoCeramica”, prima dintre acestea fiind programată în februarie 2013 la Galeria Orizont. Proiectul Ilinei Schileru, nominalizată a concursului, a fost inclus, de asemenea, în programul UAP pentru anul 2013. Premiul a fost sponsorizat de Fundaţia Pictor George Ştefănescu (1914-2007) prin generozitatea fiului, arh. Radu Ştefănescu. Juriul a fost format din biroul de critică si conducerea operativă a UAP.
Festivitatea de decernare a fost găzduită de Biblioteca Naţională (sediul nou) în cadrul expoziţiei “Artistul şi Puterea, 1950-1990”. În cadrul manifestării s-a comemorat, la 25 de ani de posteritate, personalitatea profesorului Vasile Drăguţ (1928-1987), istoric de artă, rector, ctitor de instituţii culturale şi patrimoniale.

The “Vasile Drăguţ” Curator Award
The winner of the contest for “Vasile Drăguţ” Curator Award, 2012 edition, organized by the Critics Department of the Romanian Artists Union (UAP), is Mihai Plămădeală, for the project “Democratic NonRealism”. The project involves a series of five exhibitions: “All the Presidents Men”, “Pink Submarine”, “Art on Devices”, “Spectacle du Monde” and “PictoSculptoCeramica”, the first of which is scheduled for February 2013 at the Orizont Gallery, Bucharest. Ilina Schileru’s project, also a nominee, was included in the 2013 UAP program too. The award was sponsored by the Foundation Painter George Ştefănescu (1914-2007) through the generosity of his son, architect Radu Ştefănescu. The jury was composed of members of the Critics Department and operative management of UAP.
The award ceremony was hosted on the 30th of October by the National Library, at the exhibition hall “The Artist and The Political Power, 1950-1990.” The event commemorated the personality of Professor Vasile Drăguţ (1928-1987), art historian, rector, founder of cultural and heritage institutions, 25 years after his eternal rest.
