Reliquary: ( from Lat. reliquarium – the remains of the remains, dust, debris, heritage), a receptacle for relics, precious ark, often in the form of architectural structure to store the material objects of religious memory.
Exhibition: in represented by nine (the number of musical) objects, the so-called reliquaries or containers for relics of modern culture. The authors of each are an architect, as the inventor of the architectural form, whether proprietary capsule, addressed to future generations, or the mausoleum of the deceased artist’s genius and humanity, as the creator of the mosaic image covering the form (from Lat. (Opus) musivum – a work dedicated to the Muses), and chief decorator of such facilities.
Subject Biennial “Rewriting the Worlds” in the exhibition is solved literally – rewriting and rethinking of the traditional “music in stone” in the construction and art material – from a massive block of tessera to the pixel – the masters of modern architecture and fine arts.
