Pasquale Autiero and David de la Cruz are two photographers with a different approach but with the common desire to bring their art in the streets, to share it with the ones that are not in touch with this world.
Cities are, nowadays, boxes full of images, that are, for the want of the ones that produce them, just messages linked with commercialization, of products and souls.
“La Gitana” wants to give a way of escape to the human eye, through the reflection on images that have the main purpose of being just what they are, images, but at the same time they want to stimulate the imagination and not the desire of possession.
“La Gitana” has decided to break in the streets to create a debate with the ones that are spontaneous like her, the persons that live the everyday life.
This debate wants to bring to an upper level, the one of the creation of an urban gallery, where these two faces, the works of young artists and the opinion and the capacity of reception of the people, can have a place for a comparison.
David de la Cruz, Napoli, Italy, April 2014.
